A piece made in Adobe After Effects during my studies at Keene State College. Particularly in my Time-Based Media Class. The assignment was to integrate a poem or voiceover with typography and to throw it all into motion. View the video here
Personally, I’m more drawn to photography and video rather than animation. This piece was definitely influenced by short films created by fashion houses like Dolce and Gabanna and directors like Tyler Shields.

A proposed redesign of the lovely Adair Inn located in Bethlehem, New Hampshire.
The client decided to not proceed with the re-branding, but it’s important to showcase work that sometimes may not go the way you planned. You should always go above and beyond for prospective clients!
Still, a beautiful and simple new brand system with some classic Art Deco elements applied.
Darkness Falls is a fictional brand that was given to me in my Advertising Design course that I took at Keene State College. My job was to take this brand I did not create and essentially treat them as a fictional client and create an ad campaign.
Again, the research element was essential in planning a successful campaign. There were a variety of exercises and assignments completed. For example, one task was to create multiple ad strategies and headlines that corresponded with each other. These assignments I still use today when in the brainstorming process!
In the end, I chose the concept of creating a forced connection between technology and nature since Darkness Falls is a place where people who are inundated with technology and the real world can escape. So using terms like “Stop” or “Rewind” was what really drives home what we think of when we think about vacations and retreats.
The creative was photographed by myself in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and it was a real treat to be able to escape into a forest for an afternoon and take pictures by myself. It felt like my own personal retreat!
Design projects that were either done in my free time or during my studies which hold a special place in my heart.
I think it’s important to dedicate time to your “passion projects” or really anything that sparks creativity. Even if it takes 20 minutes or 2 hours.
You are your best client so why not feed into that once in a while?
Reworking of the cover of one of my favorite books, “The Other Boleyn Girl” by Phillipa Gregory
I wanted to delve more into infographics and this little piece was so much fun to make! I took my inspiration from my personal experiences from learning how to punch, which was from my older brothers. They are avid fans of Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots and WWE so this all came together in a really comedic scene.
This is a piece that was created in a Hand Drawn Typography course that I took. It’s actually based on a real telegraph a woman sent to her boyfriend some time ago. I loved the language and the emotion that radiated from it. This was first hand-drawn, then scanned and refined in Adobe Illustrator.
