El Nido del Barrio

“El Nido del Barrio,” meaning “The Neighborhood Nest,” is a ghost kitchen, where the food is prepared in our pre-existing commercial kitchen at Panorama Six82 located at Owl’s Nest Resort and given to customers via takeout. Ghost Kitchens get rid of the traditional dining experience by removing dining areas and fancy décor. El Nido del Barrio offers cuisine that is unlike anything ever offered at Owl’s Nest Resort.

This concept was created out of the challenges emerging in the hospitality industry during the COVID-19 pandemic. With collaboration with my team and our Executive Chef, we were able to create a brand that encompassed a lot of exciting elements.

The branding involves colors from the traditional Mexican Talavera tiles along with the flourishes. The circular shape of the logo represents the unity of a community. The goal was to deliver a fresh, modern logo with a friendly element.

The landing page’s goal was to be informative and simplified for all viewers to interact with the page and order online through ChowNow or by calling the team.
